Franklin Police Arrest Man in Local Business Break-In

Franklin -- July 5, 2023: On Thursday, June 29, 2023, police officers in Franklin were called to a local store with a report of a break-in with larceny. 

A male broke into a local business and stole a safe that had more than $4000 in cash inside.   
After an investigation, police identified the suspect as Logan McKenna Otter, a 28-year-old from Cherokee, NC.  Otter was arrested and into custody. 

Franklin Police did get most of the money back, as well as stolen items from a previous crime that is under investigation.  

Otter was charged with breaking and entering, safe cracking, felony larceny, and possession of stolen property. His bond was set at $26,000 secured.
