APD Arrests Three Suspects on Gun, Drugs and Warrants
Asheville -- June 22, 2023: Asheville Police Department Detectives and Officers worked together and arrested three suspects Wednesday afternoon in the east and south parts of the city.
They were wanted for drug and gun charges and open warrants.
Arrested:
Darren Lamont Clayton (03/30/1990)
-Warrant: Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury
-Charged: Felony Possess Sch. II
-Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance on the Premises of a Local Confinement Facility
-Charged: Possess Drug Paraphernalia
Clayton was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $50,000 secured bond (or $5,000 to a bondsman) issued by the magistrate.
Mackenzie Skye Pauley (03/29/2003)
-Charged: Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine
-Charged: Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance within 1,000ft of a Park
-Charged: Maintain a Vehicle for Controlled Substances
-Charged: Carrying a Concealed Gun
Pauley was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $25,000 secured bond (or $2,500 to a bondsman) issued by the magistrate.
Robyn Eugene Burgin Jr (12/10/2001)
-Warrant: Felony Probation Violation x2
-Failure to Appear: Carrying a Concealed Gun
-Failure to Appear: Resist/ Delay/Obstruct
Burgin was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $50,000 secured bond (or $5,000 to a bondsman) issued by the magistrate.

-Kimber Custom pistol (.45 cal)
-14.65g of crack cocaine
-1 gram of meth
