Songwriter Kyle Jacobs has Died of Apparent Suicide

News -- February 18, 2023: Kyle Jacobs, who was married to Kellie Pickler
and wrote songs for big names like

Garth Brooks, died by apparent suicide on Friday afternoon, MNPD says.

Police say that at 1:21 p.m. on Friday, someone called 911 from a house on Sneed Road.

Kellie Pickler said that right before she called 911, she woke up and tried to find her husband. Police say that when she and her assistant couldn't open the door to the bedroom/office upstairs, the assistant called 911.

Jacobs was found dead in the home office of the Picklers by the MNPD.

The investigation continues.
