Waynesville Police Cite Several People: Failing to Stay at Home

Waynesville Police -- Over the weekend the Waynesville Police Department charged or cited several individuals for larceny and possession of stolen property. In addition,

the individuals were charged with violating Executive Order 121 by failing to stay at home or their place of residence.

These individuals are not only victimizing our businesses, who are open for essential purposes, they are putting others in jeopardy during this health crisis. It is important to understand that we are not using Executive Order 121 as a mechanism for arrest, but we will enforce the restrictions in place if you are found blatantly violating the executive order.
