Black Mountain Police Find Deceased Male

Black Mountain --  Press Release Black Mountain Police: On June 24, 2025, at approximately 11:03 am, Black Mountain Police Department was dispatched to an unresponsive subject in the area of 500 NC Hwy 9.  

Officers responded and discovered a recently deceased male.

An investigation is underway, but the man appeared to have passed from natural causes. At this time, foul play is not suspected and there is no reason to suspect any danger to the public. 

NC State Bureau of Investigations assisted with scene processing.

We are currently working to notify next of kin.  This post will be updated when more information becomes available.
