Law Enforcement Arrest Man in Mitchell County

Mitchell County --  Mitchell County Deputies and Spruce Pine Police responded to a residence yesterday. A person outside a home a concealed weapon, and they were concerned due to the individual's prior history.

The individual appeared to be impaired at the time. After officers spoke with family members, who were highly concerned about his behavior, we were unable to arrest him at that time.

Shortly after leaving the residence, officers were called back. Officers obtained consent to search the individual's possible living area, which resulted in his arrest.

The following found items led to the arrest.
Possess Methamphetamine 
Possess Drug Paraphernalia 
Court Date: 7-9-2025
Bond: $15,000
