
Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges in McDowell County
McDowell County -- Press Release: McDowell County Sheriff’s Office: Community Impact Team charged 43-year-old Heather Renee Holmes,
of Marion, with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was given a secured bond of $2,500.
On Thursday, February 13th, Detective Smith initiated a traffic stop on a white Honda Civic, driven by Holmes, in the Nebo area for a traffic violation.
Holmes and three passengers exited the vehicle while detectives and K9 Hiko performed a search. Drug paraphernalia and a suspected amount of meth were found on Holmes.
North Carolina State Highway Patrol assisted in the incident.
