Buncombe County Holiday Cheer with Our Community Partners
Buncombe County -- December 19, 2024: Buncombe County Sheriff's Office: This week, the Buncombe County
Sheriff’s Office hosted a wonderful Christmas event filled with joy,
laughter, and holiday spirit. Thanks to the generosity and hard work of so many, we were able to make the season brighter for local families.
A huge thank-you to Park 108 ownership group and Altamus for providing the perfect event space to bring everyone together.
Delicious food was shared, courtesy of Chick-fil-A, Apollo Flame, and Hearts with Hands, and refreshing drinks were supplied by Coca-Cola Company to keep us energized.
Heartfelt donations from amazing organizations made it all possible, including:
• Samet Group
• Cabins for Christ
• Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office
• Genesee County Sheriff’s Office
• Arundel Community College in Maryland
• Masters Mechanics
• Legally Addictive Foods
• Moog Music
• Next Door 360
• Asheville Local Electric
Special thanks to Weaverville Walmart for their generousity in letting us use their space for our toy drive and their donation of festive Christmas decorations—your contributions lit up the event.
And none of this could have happened without our amazing volunteers, including teams from:
• Park 108 ownership group
• Altamus Team
• Facility Manager Vincent Stroupe
• Weaverville PD
• Samet Group
• Chick-fil-A
• Cabins for Christ
• Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office
• BCSO SRO family members
• Asheville Local Electric
This holiday season, we are reminded of the incredible power of community and the importance of coming together to support one another. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and resources to make this event a success.
From all of us at the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
