Empower Your Neighborhood: Apply for the Community Space Upfit Project
Asheville -- July 2, 2024: City of Asheville Government Community News: We’re thrilled to announce the Community Space Upfit Project,
which is aimed at strengthening neighborhood connectivity and resilience. This project will equip five community spaces with advanced A/V technology and other upgrades that will make it easier for everyone to participate and stay informed, especially during emergencies.
What’s the project about?
Technology Upgrades: Audio/visual equipment, high-speed Wi-Fi, and more.
Accessibility Improvements: Enhancing spaces to be welcoming and inclusive for all.
Community Empowerment: Creating designated spaces for community engagement, climate resilience, and emergency response.
