Blue Ridge Community College’s ‘Summer Academy’ Camps
Blue Ridge Community College -- This summer, area students are invited to attend ten Summer Academy camps hosted by Blue Ridge Community College. Registration is open now through May 31.
Blue Ridge Community College’s Summer Academy options offer fun, affordable, high-quality learning opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school students. Budding car enthusiasts, future welders, machinists, entrepreneurs, horticulturists, hair designers, or engineers can explore and develop their skills in one-, two- or three-day hands-on summer camps.
“Since 2009, Blue Ridge Community College has offered high-quality summer exploratory camps to elementary, middle, and high school students,” said Shanda Bedoian, Blue Ridge’s director of corporate and customized training. “The camps range from one day to several and are packed with hands-on activities that build confidence, independence, and learning in a fun and exciting environment.”
Registration fees range from only $10 to $100. Descriptions of each camp, age requirements and online registration information can be found online at www.blueridge.edu/summer-camps.
Campers are encouraged to register early, as camp space is limited. Scholarships are available.
