Jay Leno Hosptialized with Burns After Garage Fire
NEWS -- November 14, 2022 -- According to the former "The Tonight Show" host, Jay Leno is recuperating from burn wounds sustained in a gasoline fire.
“I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet,” Leno said in a statement to Variety
Leno, a passionate auto enthusiast, was purportedly working on one of his cars in his garage when it allegedly caught fire. According to a TMZ source, he is receiving medical care for his wounds at the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles.
People reported that Leno, 72, canceled his Sunday participation at The Financial Brand Forum convention in Las Vegas, citing the conference's organizers.
According to an email sent to conference delegates and received by the outlet, "His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling,” an email to conference attendees and obtained by the publication stated. “All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight.”
