September 22, 2021 is the official First Day of Fall 2021!

I assumed it was when I saw the Fall image on Google Search today. After searching a little bit, I came upon The Old Farmer's Almanac and found interesting fun facts!

According to the Almanac, today marks the first day of fall, the equinox, also called September equinox or fall equinox.

Now, this applies to the Northern Hemishpere, in the Southern Hemisphere, it's the beginning of Spring!

Days will begin to be shorter, nights longer.

What do you like to do to prepare for longer nights indoors?

Here are some suggestions:

** How about some candles to give a cozy feeling? I prefer the Flameless candles, they have the feel of real candles and much safer!

** A few strings of lights will brighten up your nights. I like purple string lights at this time of year, just enough light to give a nice glow.

** What to do? Gameboards, cards? Sure, always fun! Scrabble, checkers, Go Fish!

Crafts, for young, old and in between! Individually, couples, families!
