NORTH CAROLINA FAMILY VACATION 2024 | Waynesville, Pisgah National Forest, Winchester Creek Farm

This is Part 2 of our 2024 North Carolina Smoky Mountains Winter Vacation!

Day 2: We drove down to downtown Hotsprings and enjoyed some ice cream at the Artisun Gallery and Cafe, after which we took a drive to the Pisgah National Forest, and it truly had such spectacular views! We had to make a river stop, of course, at the French Broad River. The waters were rough and freezing! It was so peaceful to just be out there.

Day 3: We started off our adventure that day with ice cream, of course, at Marshall General Store. Their ice cream was so delicious! We then spent the afternoon driving around the mountains and made our way down to Weaverville, NC, to the cutest little park! The kids really enjoyed it.

Day 4: We made plans to drive down to Waynesville, NC, to visit the Winchester Creek Farm, and it did not disappoint! What a lovely spot to stop by with your kids to visit and learn about the different farm animals they have. Our favorite, the alpacas! It is a must if you are visiting. Make sure you reserve your tour before you get there!

We ate (at the recommendation of our tour guide) at Boojum Brewing Co., guys! Heavenly burgers and fries! A double MUST if you are visiting.

We of course left enough room for ice cream at Kilwins; they never disappoint.
