Attention Haywood County Residents! 🌟 Your participation is crucial in the Community Health Assessment (CHA) survey
Attention Haywood County Residents! 🌟 Your participation is crucial in the Community Health Assessment (CHA) survey. We aim to identify and address key health needs in our area. Randomly selected households will receive a call from "WNC Health" – the survey takes just 20 minutes and is completely anonymous.
🗓️ Calls are ongoing until we have a representative sample. Your input on health, behaviors, and experiences will shape our efforts to improve community health over the next three years.
🌍 This survey is part of a larger initiative by WNC Healthy Impact, supported by local hospitals and The Dogwood Health Trust. It’s a collaborative effort to enhance health across western North Carolina.

Patton Park just turned 50 years old!
Did you know?
☀️
Patton Park just turned 50 years old! Sadie Smathers Patton donated the property in memory of her late husband, Preston F. Patton in the late 1960s. On May 26, 1974, the opening of Patton Community Park took place unveiling a swimming pool complex, basketball, tennis and racquetball courts, ball fields and a parking lot.
🏊
Additional improvements have included pavilions, water fountains, picnic shelters, foot- bridges and playground equipment in the early 1980s, as well as the skate park and the second phase of the Oklawaha Greenway in 2009.
🚲
Patton Pool is operated by the Hendersonville Family YMCA and offers great family fun throughout the summer. Visit https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/parks/patton-pool for more information and a link to the pool schedule.
