We've been using our air-fryer every day! We don't even use the stove anymore!
It's quick, easy, healthy and makes everything tasty!
The clean up is so quick, too!
We decided to look into quick, tasty snacks for the upcoming holidays.
This is a great idea even if you won't be having company.
These cold winter nights can seem long and some how cravings set in!
So, let's take a look at a recipe that you can easily make in your air fryer
and know they'll taste great,
satisfy cravings without adding a bunch of carbs!
Crispy Air-fryer Low Carb Tortilla Chips
Ingredients:
Low Carb Tortilla Chips
Olive Oil Cooking Spray (you can also use a brush if you don't have cooking spray)
Salt (be kind to yourself, use little salt or salt substitutes)
Directions:
1
Stack your tortillas on top of one another and slice once horizontally and then again vertically to create triangles.
(4 tortillas is a good amount)
2
Then arrange the triangles in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure that all your chips have plenty of room to cook.
Spray generously with oil, sprinkling with salt before placing the basket in the air fryer.
3
Set the temperature to 350°F and let the basket cook for 8-10 minutes,
keeping an eye on it as some tortilla slices might need less or more time than others.
4
Make sure tortillas are crispy! Serve right away. If you have leftovers, store them in airtight containers at room temperature.
Be sure to have your favorite salsa and maybe guacamole, too!
