Targeted Operation by Asheville Police Results in 2 Adults & 2 Juvenile Arrests

Asheville --  August 4, 2025: During a targeted operation Thursday night in west Asheville, detectives and officers from the Asheville Police Department took four people into custody and confiscated three firearms and illegal drugs. 

In direct reaction to recent community concerns and intelligence regarding illegal firearms and drug activity, the concerted effort was initiated.  

Detectives and West Asheville Patrol Officers worked together on the operation, which made use of all the department's tactical units and specialties.  Drones from the inside and outside were used to conduct first searches after the crew managed to safely control the area.
