As we approach 100,000 Americans dead from COVID-19, a search online was done to be able to see just how many people that would be in a group.
"Visualizing Crowd Size" on Lime link from December 18, 2018 shows photographs from 50 people, 100. 150, 250, 500, 1,000, 3,000, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, 50,000, 75,000, then 100,000.
Viewing those photographs brings it home. To get the full view of 100,000 realizing that is how many people we've already lost, is heartbreaking.
Seeing it on a cellphone does not bring it home the way that it does on a computer.
