Asheville -- July 20, 2023:  In a news release Wednesday, the Police Department of Asheville Police announced the arrest of Kellie Dillon at 4 AM in the morning for stabbing her ex-boyfriend on Lexington Avenue. The victim, with a non-life-threatening knife wound to the abdomen, was taken to Mission Hospital.


Although the event took place on North Lexington Avenue close to the I-240 overpass, officers first came upon the victim in Pack Square. Officers tracked down the criminal on North Ann Street and Patton Avenue after conducting an investigation. Additionally, the knife was found by the police.

The Buncombe County Jail received a complaint of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury against Kellie June Dillon, 27, of Fort Worth, Texas. She is not eligible for release at this time because she has no bond.
