  4. Cataloochee and Sugar Mountain Open for 2022-2023 Season!

Western North Carolina -- November 14, 2022: The 2022-23 ski season kicked off this morning at in Western North Carolina
at Sugar Mountain and Cataloochee!

Cataloochee erial lifts spinning from 9:00am to 4:30pm with skiing and riding on 5 trails. Trails open include Upper Omigosh, Rock Island Run, Lower Omigosh, Rabbit Hill, and Beginner’s Luck
 

Sugar is going to play on six slopes – which are Northridge, Switchback, Upper Flying Mile, Lower Flying Mile, Easy Street, and Tiny Tim/Connection. Sugar is going to have the Summitt Express and Easy Street lift spinning today.
