Glamping at Lake Powhatan means you’ve got Tent-to-Trail access. The Bent Creek trail system is one of the region’s top spots for mountain bikers of any ability. Beginners and families with small children will find as much joy as a technically trained rider. The variety of trails, from wide and flat to steep and challenging, is abundant. Round out your glamping experience with some quiet time fishing lakeside. Brown Trout, Brook Trout and Rainbow Trout are all stocked here, so you can expect a catch! Fishing season extends from the first Saturday in April to the last day in February. Since you’re in the national forest, a fishing license is required and very easy to come by. Just visit a local outdoor retailer or click the link below in advance of your glamping trip. There’s a 7-fish limit each day and no size regulations, so set your goals high!
