85 Year Old Hendersonville Man Found Deceased

Hendersonville -- February 26, 2024: The Hendersonville Police Department announced the Silver Alert for 85-year-old Orrin Jefferson Brown was canceled on Sunday after his body was found.

Brown was last seen leaving his home along Brittany Place Drive in Hendersonville on Thursday around 12:43 p.m

His vehicle was located on Big Hungry Road on Friday, February 23, emergency personnel organized searches of the heavily wooded and challenging terrain in the nearby areas. On the morning of February 25, 2024, Mr. Brown was located deceased within the search area. No evidence of suspicious activity or foul play was located.

Over the past two and a half days, more than 200 people have been involved in the investigation, search, and recovery efforts. The Hendersonville Police Department appreciates the hard work and collaboration of the following agencies:
