Buncombe Couunty -- April 11, 2023: Monday, deputies went to a probable larceny that may have been
taking place at Crisp Inc. on Lake James Rd. 

When they arrived, they saw Whitson and Honeycutt, two male subjects who were attempting to flee the scene
in a car. Methamphetamine and many other stolen goods from the premises were discovered when the car was searched.
The company received all of the recovered and returned stolen goods.

46-year-old Michael Robert Whitson was charged with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Possession of Stolen Goods and felonious Larceny.
44-year-old Michael Dale Honeycutt was charged with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Possession of Stolen Goods, felonious Larceny and Injury to Real Property.
Both were issued a $50,000 secured bond.
