Large Amount of Drugs Found During Traffic Stop
Rutheford County -- March 15, 2023: Deputy Jacob Poteat of the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office
Road Patrol Division
was patrolling the Spindale area on Sunday, February 26, 2023, shortly after 10:00 p.m. On Oak Street near College Avenue, Deputy Poteat pulled over a car for driving without a valid license. Deputy Caitlin Condrey helped Deputy Poteat make the arrest.
During the investigation, the driver Tisha Michelle Suttles, 41, of Forest City, was found to be in possession of approximately 234 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 6 grams of marijuana, and 26 dosage units of Clonazepam, and $7,119 U.S. Currency.
As a result, the driver, Tisha Suttles was arrested and charged with the following:
Level 2 Trafficking Methamphetamine
Possess with Intent to Sell/Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance
Maintain Vehicle for Controlled Substance
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
No Operators License
Suttles received a $30,000 secured bond.
