Asheville --January 3, 2022  Asheville Police Department officers and North Carolina Department of Public Safety

worked in conjunction with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office to apprehend a man who had been dodging arrest
on multiple open warrants stemming from an accident that occurred at Merrimon Avenue and Marcellus Street back
in May of 2021. 
In the aftermath of the accident, officers were unable to locate and arrest the man, after he fled on foot from the accident. Jayleen Marquese Boston was taken into on December 30th, was later released on a $50.000 bond.

Asheville Police:

"Thank you to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and the Henderson County Sheriff's Office for working in conjunction with the Asheville Police Departments to swiftly apprehended Boston.
