Waynesville Police Investigate 2 Bomb Threats in 10 Days

Waynesville --  Press Release Waynesville Police Department: Over the last 10 days, numerous bomb threats have been received and are currently under investigation.

 These threats have been written in nature and have been found at different locations throughout town. 

Our investigations have determined no credible threat or danger at this time. Still, like all of our investigations, we are treating these incidents with the seriousness they deserve and with the intent to prosecute those responsible.

At this time, We are working with other law enforcement agencies, including the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations to identify the source and those responsible.
