Joint Operation Leads to Arrest of Suspect Charged With Child Exploitation

Yancey County --  Yancey County Sheriff's Office Report Friday: Joint Operation Leads to Arrest of Suspect Charged With Child Exploitation. 
This morning, the Yancey County Sheriff's Office assisted Homeland Security

and the U.S. Marshals in the arrest of Paul David Dover, 67, of Spruce Pine. Dover was taken into custody in the parking lot outside of Burnsville McDonald's. Dover is now in federal custody and will face charges related to child exploitation.

"The safety of all the children in our communities is a top priority," said Sheriff Shane Hilliard. "We will continue working with our law enforcement partners to ensure those who pose a threat are held accountable.”
