
Fentanyl & Cocaine Found on Woman After Traffic Stop
McDowell County -- The McDowell County Sheriff's Office reported the following on Thursday: The Sheriff’s Office Community Impact
Team charged Megan Alexandria Mitchell,
42, of Old Fort with felony Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance and felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. She received a secured bond of $10,000.
On Saturday, Feb 22, detectives initiated a traffic stop on Mitchell, who was driving in the Old Fort area on a suspended license. A search of her car and person turned up a purple powder (suspected to be fentanyl), crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. She was taken into custody and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center.
