Ashevlle Man Charged with Felony Child Abuse

Asheville -- Delaware Olinger, 26, of Asheville was arrested and charged with felony child abuse on Tuesday, February 18, according to a 

Buncombe County Sheriff's Office press release.

 There is a $100,000 bond set on Olinger He is in the Buncombe County Detention Center.

Officials from the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office say that Olinger intentionally hurt a baby very badly. Olinger was arrested on charges that he caused multiple kinds of brain hemorrhages, which is also known as "shaken baby syndrome."

Olinger is charged with Felony Child Abuse.
