Written today March 26, 2020 to speak out about the reality of the United States during this pandemic.
US Reality
Over 1,000 people dead. Nurses wearing trash bags because there's no protective gear,
people dying because there's no tests available, people losing everything,
sheltering in place away from those we love.
There are no bombs dropping, there's no blood in the streets, no buildings falling.
There are bodies piling up, refrigerated trucks serve as temporary morgues.
There are people suffering, so sick, many taking their last breath alone, without family or friends.
Funerals cannot be held, only grieving behind closed doors.
People running out of food, unable to pay bill's.
Fear is everywhere.
The lack of hope is overwhelming. There is no end in sight because there's no help is coming.
