Animal Enrichment Day is just over a week away!

Next Wednesday, July 31, see firsthand how Grandfather Mountain's keepers care for our furry and feathered inhabitants with an afternoon of fun and educational activities. Included with park admission, this event gives visitors the chance to interact with habitat staff and observe special enrichments, which are treats, new toys or unfamiliar scents that break up the animals’ routines and help keep them active and intellectually stimulated.
