Lake Julian Festival of Lights-Walk Thru
When Saturday, December 2, 2023, 6 – 8 pm Event Location Lake Julian Park - 37 Lake Julian Road Arden, NC Email parks@buncombecounty.org Phone (828) 684-0376 Enjoy a unique holiday experience at the popular Lake Julian Festival of Lights. This is the only way to experience the light show from the perspective of a stroll through the festival. Two special walk-thru nights are open to the community on December 2nd and 3rd! Purchase your tickets in advance as this event has sold out for the past few years. Evenings will be filled with holiday craft-making, fire circle, snacks, and family-friendly activities. Lake Julian Festival of Lights has become a tradition for many mountain families and visitors. A portion of the proceeds benefit Buncombe County Special Olympics. Admission is $5 and kids 16 and under get in free! Wear comfortable shoes, and warm clothing, and be prepared to walk over half a mile on a paved walkway. The walkway is of moderate difficulty with some inclines. Parents with young children are welcome to bring strollers or wagons. Pets are not permitted at the walk-through. Parking will be available at Estes Elementary School. Cars will not be permitted to enter the park. |
