Evado at Tap Root Breaks Ground in Fletcher
Fletcher -- Ground has been broken on Evado at Tap Root, a 270-unit, Class A multifamily community set to add new luxury residential
options to the Asheville area. Located on 20 acres just south of Asheville in Fletcher, the development will offer sweeping views of the mountains.
This community is designed with a "mountain-lodge aesthetic," featuring elements like an outdoor chimney and patio that frame the panoramic mountain vistas.
"The Evado brand was built around the concept of escape—evado means ‘to escape’ in Latin,” said McFaddin Blanding, President of Orange Capital. “With Tap Root, we’re extending that mission into the mountains of North Carolina by creating a lifestyle-centered community anchored in purposeful design, strong local partnerships, and long-term value.”
Evado at Tap Root will feature upscale finishes and a comprehensive suite of signature amenities. Residents can expect a resort-style saltwater pool and spa deck with cabanas, an expansive outdoor lounge area, and an oversized fitness center with a dedicated yoga studio. Dedicated pickleball courts, a fenced dog park, and a professional dog washing station are also part of the plan. Additional amenities include an outdoor community kitchen with a pizza oven and a dedicated car detail area. Residences will offer open floor plans, oversized balconies, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and 9-foot ceilings.
The project is projected for completion in the summer of 2027. This development highlights the ongoing growth and demand for residential communities in Western North Carolina.
