Jessica Agosto Bridges, 43, was charged by the McDowell County Sheriff's Office Community Impact Team with two counts of felony methamphetamine trafficking, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $175,000 was issued to her.
On August 21, a deputy stopped a Chevy Malibu for a moving violation near Exit 83 on I-40 West. The vehicle was driven by Bridges. With the assistance of MCSO K9 Hiko, detectives searched the vehicle and Bridges, locating suspected methamphetamine (40 grams), fentanyl, Suboxone strips, and drug paraphernalia.
