Asheville -- January 23, 2026: As winter weather approaches, the City is taking proactive steps to ensure our roads remain safe and accessible. To assist with snow removal and de-icing efforts, the following parking protocols will go into effect this weekend.
Parking Regulations & Free Services
Beginning Friday at 5:00 p.m., all residents and visitors are asked to observe these guidelines:
No On-Street Parking: Please do not park on city streets after 5:00 p.m. Friday. Keeping the roads clear is essential for snow plows and treatment vehicles to operate efficiently.
Free City Garages: All City-owned parking garages will be open to the public free of charge starting Friday at 5:00 p.m. for those who need a safe place to park their vehicles.
