Haywood County -- Downtown Waynesville is gearing up for a weekend of mountain culture as the Appalachian True Heritage Festival returns on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026. This free, two-day celebration is expected to bring a significant boost to local businesses along Main Street.

Friday, April 17 (6 PM – 9 PM): Kick off the weekend with "An Evening Under the Arch," featuring a premier concert on Main Street.
Saturday, April 18 (10 AM – 5 PM): A full day of immersive experiences, including the Vendor Market and live heritage demonstrations.
