Arrest and Charges
George Stanley Conrad III, 28, of Pisgah Forest, was arrested on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The charges are related to the possession of child pornography. Authorities state the alleged crimes occurred when he lived in Hendersonville.
Conrad is currently being held without bond at the Henderson County Detention Center in Hendersonville.

The Hendersonville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit led the investigation, collaborating with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), Henderson County District Attorney’s Office, and Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation began following a tip received by the Hendersonville PD ICAC Unit.
