Asheville Business News -- July 22, 2026: ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Tanger Outlets Asheville has expanded its lineup of retailers and dining options with the opening of JD Sports and Starbucks, two nationally recognized brands that outlet officials say strengthen the shopping experience for visitors.
JD Sports has opened in a 5,000-square-foot space adjacent to American Eagle and Aerie, while Starbucks is now serving customers from its location next to Bath & Body Works and the Food Court.
In announcing the additions, Tanger officials said the new businesses reflect the outlet center's continued investment in attracting well-known brands to Western North Carolina.

The addition of JD Sports expands the outlet center's selection of athletic footwear and apparel, while Starbucks provides shoppers with another convenient dining option during their visit.
