Polk County -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of 7 people after a collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections,with the Sheriff’s Office.

"A comprehensive sweep in Polk County targeting persons on supervised probation, parole, and registered sex offenders.
The operation named "Shamrock Shakedown" aimed to ensure compliance with their probation, parole and sex offender court-ordered conditions.
“This operation reflects our ongoing dedication to public safety and holding individuals accountable for their actions.” -Sheriff Tim Wright"
As a result of the operation, multiple individuals were identified for violations and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the law.
