Rutherford County -- June 14, 2026: n 06/14/26, Deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, Road Patrol Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Grice Road in Ellenboro. The residence was part of an ongoing investigation of suspected drug trafficking activity.
As a result, Donna Michelle Praytor, 40, of Ellenboro was arrested and charged with the following:
Trafficking in Fentanyl
Maintain Veh/Dwell/Place CS
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
Simple Possess Sch III CS
Donna was held without bond pending her appearance before a District Court Judge.
Opal Dawn Ruppe, 40, of Ellenboro was arrested and charged with the following:
Possess Methamphetamine
Alter/Steal/Dest Criminal Evid
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
Simple Possess Sch III CS
Opal was given a 20,000 secured bond.
