Robbinsville -- August 4, 2026: Robbinsville Mayor Shaun Larry Adams was arrested Monday on multiple drug-related charges following an investigation by the Graham County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Graham County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began with a traffic stop and later resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Adams' residence.
Investigators reported recovering approximately 42.1 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, a concealed firearm, and drug paraphernalia during the investigation.
Adams has been charged with the following offenses:
Felony Charges:
Trafficking Methamphetamine
Trafficking Cocaine
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Cocaine
Maintaining a Vehicle or Dwelling for Controlled Substances
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Methamphetamine
Misdemeanor Charges:
Carrying a Concealed Firearm
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
According to the Graham County Sheriff's Office, Adams was taken into custody and booked into the Graham County Detention Center.
The charges are allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
