WNC -- July 13, 2026: U.S. Representative Chuck Edwards (NC-11) and his wife, Teresa, announced the sale of their Western North Carolina McDonald’s restaurant business.

Chuck Edwards' history with the franchise stretches back to 1977, when he first began working behind the counter of the Hendersonville McDonald's at 16 years old. In 1998, the couple officially purchased their first locations, including that very same Hendersonville restaurant. Over the next 28 years, the Edwards family built and operated the franchise business, which grew to include locations across Henderson, Transylvania, and Haywood counties.
