Sign the Back IMMEDIATELY: Sign your original winning ticket on the back right away. This establishes you as the owner.
Gather Your Documents: For prizes of $600 or more, you will need:
The NC Lottery Winner Claim Form.
A valid Photo ID.
Your Social Security card.
Step 2: Know Where to Go
The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has different claim procedures depending on the size of the prize:
Prizes Under $600
Can be claimed at any authorized NCEL retailer or regional office.
Prizes of $600 up to $99,999
These can be claimed at any NCEL Regional Office or by mail.
