On Friday, July 25, officers responded to a residence in Marion about a stolen Ford Fusion. Memsen, who was the suspect, had removed the car from the property unlawfully.
On Monday, July 30, a search of the residence found that Memsen had returned with the vehicle after spending several days in Buncombe County.
Memsen was arrested and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center.
