McDowell County -- McDowell County Sheriff's reported the arrest of 29-year-old Christian David Powser of Marion.
Powser was denied bail as he was on pretrial release. He faces a felony First Degree Burglary charge. Deputies responded to a report of a breaking-and-entering in the P.G. area. According to the caller, Powser had broken a window of the residence in an attempt to enter the home and then left the area on foot after he was confronted.
Deputies searched the area and found him walking on P.G. Baptist Church Rd.

An investigation led to Power's arrest. He is at the McDowell County Detention Center.
*Suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
