Investigation Leads to Drug Trafficking Charges

: Buncombe County -- Sepember 15, 2025: Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Press Release: :On the morning of September 8, members of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Illegal Gun Reduction and Narcotics Taskforce (IGRANT), Special Response Team (SRT), and Agents with ATF Asheville executed a search warrant at 108 Curry Court in the Candler Community.

This search warrant was the result of a months-long joint investigation into a drug trafficking organization that was conducted by IGRANT and ATF Asheville Agents. This search warrant yielded the seizure of:

Fentanyl – 79.1 grams

Cocaine – 32.8 Grams

(1) Drako Mini AK-47 7.62

(1) Glock model 20 10MM handgun

(1) Glock model 21 .45 handgun

Numerous rounds of ammunition

Hydraulic Brick Press

Drug Paraphernalia

Electronic Devices (Cellular Phones)

$4390.00 of US Currency

As a result of this search warrant, Terence Antonio Lucas was charged with:

Trafficking, Opium or Heroin (Fentanyl) – Level 3 – Manufacturing

Trafficking, Cocaine (Crack Cocaine) – Level 1 – Manufacturing

Quintania Mechell Gregg was also charged with:
