Henderson County -- April 22, 2026: Henderson County Sheriff's Office News Release: Following a recent traffic stop conducted by one of our patrol deputies, in which stolen mail was recovered, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office has reason to believe there may be additional victims of mail fraud in our community.

As a result, Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division are actively going door to door in affected areas to speak with residents and determine if others have been victimized. The goal is to identify any additional victims so we can provide assistance and hold those responsible accountable.

If you see our HCSO Detectives in your neighborhood or receive a knock at your door, please know this is a legitimate law enforcement effort. Our Detectives will always properly identify themselves with official Henderson County Sheriff’s Office credentials when approaching members of the public.
