$1 Billion Prysmian Facility Expansion in Catawba County: Governor Stein announced that Prysmian, a global leader in energy and digital connection solutions, is investing over $1 billion to expand its fiber and glass manufacturing operations in Claremont. The expansion is set to create 385 new manufacturing jobs in the region.
State Budget Support for SUN Bucks Child Nutrition: Visiting the Durham Farmers’ Market during National Farmers Market Week alongside Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Dev Sangvai, Governor Stein highlighted the state budget’s funding for the SUN Bucks Nutrition Program. The program provides grocery support to over one million North Carolina children to ensure access to nutritious food while school is out of session.
Rural Infrastructure & Private Sector Growth: Governor Stein unveiled more than $1 billion in private investment commitments projected to generate 342 jobs across rural North Carolina.
