Downtown Asheville's Grove Arcade is scheduled to offer a free, family-friendly event on April 25, 2026, according to organizers. The annual Grove Arcade in Bloom event provides an afternoon of floral displays and activities. This event marks the third year of the series, which has quickly become a staple spring event for downtown Asheville. It is designed as a "botanical wonderland" to celebrate the change of seasons and promote local makers and environmental nonprofits.
Event Details The third annual Grove Arcade in Bloom will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at 1 Page Avenue. The event aims to celebrate spring with immersive botanical displays, hands-on activities, and community giveaways.
Attendees can expect a plant market by Ross Farm, a Springtime makers market by Southern Highland Craft Guild, and floral installations by Studio Flora Diva. Asheville GreenWorks will host hourly tree giveaways, and there will be an Aperol Spritz pop-up bar benefiting their environmental efforts. Open Hearts Art Center will provide paper flower bouquets, while face painting and kids’ crafts will be available for young visitors.
Steve Okonski, a member of the acclaimed soul group Durand Jones & The Indications, will headline the afternoon’s live music, accompanied by captivating dance performances from Stewart/Owen Dance. Adding to the day’s energy, interactive performance art will be provided throughout the afternoon.
Accessibility The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. Guests can stroll through the arcade to enjoy the shopping, entertainment, and freebies at their own pace.
