Haywood County -- December 18, 2025: Haywood County holds the proud distinction of being the "First Certified Entrepreneurial Community in the Nation." At the heart of this thriving ecosystem is the Small Business Center (SBC) at Haywood Community College, a powerhouse of resources dedicated to helping local residents start, grow, or stabilize their business ventures.
