Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the couple’s deaths. Despite the ongoing investigation, authorities have indicated that they are not seeking any other persons of interest or suspects in connection with the incident. Furthermore, the Sheriff’s Office emphasized there is no perceived threat to the general community.
District 1 Captain Dustan Auldredge extended condolences on behalf of the department. “Our hearts and thoughts are with this family and others impacted,” Captain Auldredge stated. “We understand there have been a lot of questions about this incident, and we wanted to make sure immediate family had been notified before releasing information. We will continue to prioritize the family and their needs at this time.”
